Ceramic sealant protection, done right.
A ceramic sealant only works if the paint underneath it is actually clean. That's why ours is never sold on its own — it's the second half of the Full Detail, applied straight after a full clay bar decontamination, not layered over whatever was already bonded to the paint.

It's a cross-linking polymer that forms a real film-barrier on the clear coat — not just a layer sitting on top like wax, and not the molecular bond of a true multi-year ceramic coating either. Applied over properly decontaminated paint, it gives roughly three months of real resistance to sap, fallout, water spotting and UV, and it makes every wash in between easier because contaminants have a surface to sit on instead of a surface to bond to.
Why it's part of the Full Detail, not its own service
Sealing dirty or contaminated paint just locks the contamination in — which is exactly the mistake a standalone "ceramic sealant" add-on invites. Our process runs clay bar decontamination first, every time, so the sealant goes on paint that's actually clean. That's why it's built into the Full Detail rather than sold as a five-minute add-on to a wash.

Biohazards or heavy off-road residue sit outside this scale — if we find them on arrival, we'll flag a separate $50 fee before starting.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy just the sealant without the rest of the Full Detail?
No — and that's deliberate. A sealant applied over paint that hasn't been clay-bar decontaminated just traps whatever contamination is already there. The Full Detail's clay bar step is what makes the sealant worth applying in the first place.
How long does the protection actually last?
Roughly three months of real resistance to sap, fallout and UV under normal conditions. It's a genuine step up from the 3–5 weeks a spray wax gives on the Mini Detail, but it isn't a multi-year ceramic coating — see the comparison below for what each tier actually buys you.
Is this the same as a multi-year ceramic coating?
No. A true ceramic coating is a liquid SiO2 product that bonds to the clear coat at a molecular level and can last years with proper maintenance. Our sealant is a cross-linking polymer film — a real step above wax, genuinely useful for about three months, but a different category of product.
How do I make the protection last as long as possible?
pH-neutral shampoo, no automatic brush washes, and the two-bucket hand-wash method between visits. Harsh detergents and brush washes strip a sealant faster than normal driving ever will.
